EXIT PLANNING AND VALUE ENHANCEMENT

Exit is a very important event in an entrepreneur's life. Preparing an organisation for exit is a pivotal process that can significantly impact the success of the transition. At APTA Advisors, we engage with companies over a span of six months to meticulously evaluate and enhance their operational facets.

Through comprehensive assessments, streamlined processes, and improved financial transparency, this proactive approach not only bolsters the company's overall value but also facilitates a smoother and more lucrative exit strategy, ultimately maximizing returns for stakeholders and investors.

  • We work with the owner in planning the exit. This includes:
    • Identifying value enhancers and value dampeners.
    • Brainstorming to strengthen value enhancers, and minimize or eliminate value dampeners.
    • Reviewing various aspects of the organization to plan the exit. This includes:
      • Org-structure review / simplification
      • P&L, Balance sheet review to identify potential issues (tax efficiency, regulatory issues etc.)
      • Review of client portfolio to identify possible value enhancement opportunities.
      • Review of HR, Support organization to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Advise on optimal transaction structure.
  • Based on above devise a 6 to 24 month plan as applicable.
  • Work with the owner through out the period to help execute the plan.
  • Prepare the firm for an optimal exit.
  • Initiate and execute the sale process to maximize value to shareholders.
